ColourMine’s identity here | This is crisis and survival

Written by Susan Lane

Tracking down ColourMine’s duplicate identity

This is on Squarespace which for me
Was my first of ColourMine's websites,
On which I was learning so slowly
I’d been searching for days, possibly a week
Just to give ColourMine a bit of a tweak

Everywhere I looked it displayed for me
The wrong URL you see,
Oh, botheration and diddly dee
Everything says ColourMine Poetry

It’s been like it for days
Showing up everywhere,
On virtually every page
It shouldn’t be there for everyone to see

Its mucking up my data
From Google Search Console
Who is looking for ColourMine Poetry
And that’s just not me

I’ve been right through all the labels again
Trying to find it without refrain
I’ve checked every general and SEO page I can find
To see what may be lurking behind

Unfortunately, and regrettably,
It doesn’t appear to be anywhere that I can see
Damn this was so frustrating for me
I decided to have a drink and a break

To give the brain a chance to wake
Maybe after I’d had a rest
I could get back to it
With a bit more zest

Oh my god, I’ve found it, I knew I’d seen it recently
Now I’ve removed that problem, permanently
Google and me will no longer see
ColourMine Poetry, omg, yippee

Following ColourMine’s Success

It’s now ColourMine all the way,
For everyone to see
Now let’s hope it has upped my game
Because there is no confusion now for me

My website is ColourMine it is plain to see
And each and every one of my poems
Has been written by me
Thank you all for keeping and reading
All the poems on ColourMine recently

It had already been an almost disastrous week
I know it was a dumb thing to do
But now it’s all sorted between me and you
Then I got to thinking

Maybe it hadn’t just been me
Perhaps you also experienced problems similarly
My only advice is to keep looking diligently
Take a good trawl on every page you can see

You will probably find on the way
More tiny little problems
Which may have gone astray
They may even irritate annoyingly

But the relief that you get
When you stumble and find
That problematic sentence
That’s always on your mind

I then went off to celebrate
With one bottle or possibly two
One glass at a time,
I think I deserved it, don’t you

It was only cheap you see
Not quite wine but
After ColourMine's success
Good enough for me
Basically, a really cheap Asti,

Now that I’m finally me
And have learned such a lot
Since this episode back in June this year
I’m away to enjoy a nice hot cup of tea
Hehe
