Love the Lady of the House
Introducing the lady of the house into the mix, so you can understand a bold individual who converses with love to everything around her so everyone in the whole family is happy; she’s not mad, just inspirational.
Here I am, the lady of the house,
Big and proud, with no spouse
But I have my lovely dog with me
And a couple of felines
What a treat
We all live in harmony,
Having conversations with all sorts of things
Household appliances, birds, bugs, shrubs and trees
This is the normal way of life for us you see,
When you’re alone then what should you do
You know everything rests on you
And you’ve only got animals and nature
To give you feedback you see
Because there’s no interaction
From friends, neighbours or family
So, now we’ve established we’re not mad
Not even slightly, although we might be bad
Let me tell you it’s fun here you see,
With everything and everyone living in harmony
Because we’ve joined a happy throng,
Talking to all these things is the norm
The birds they sing their chorus,
A happy song, in the early morn
To wake me up
Because breakfast time has dawned
Then later on they chirp at me
To let me know they need more feed
They like fat balls, peanuts and seed
That keeps them going whilst they breed.
They don’t mind if their water
Is nearly empty by three
Because it started out fresh
And they’d already bathed really early,
They know I’ll refill it as soon as can be
Pace of Everything
Life is so slow here, it’s such a joy to be
In the middle of the countryside
Where a certain amount
Of entertainment and enjoyment is free
Where the trees and plants give a different slant
The tiny critters, slow worms,
Spiders and bugs of all sorts
They scamper about doing their own sports
As you can see, we’re a family,
Full of fun and exceptional good cheer
The seasons play a part with everything too
It’s cold and bleak in winter for all to see
In summer it’s so hot, you need to sit under a tree
Life is fantastic wherever you are and whatever you do
I’m the lady of the house and I’m saying
Hi everyone lovely life orchestrated
In other words, “Hello” to you.
