The ColourMine Pink Note Pad
A retrospective look at the closure of one notepad and moving onto the newest colourful availability.
I’ve nearly finished my ColourMine notepad
How could that be
I didn’t realise I’d written that much
I’d best get another ready for AssTea
Or that could be disastrous for me
Because I’ll have nowhere to write anything
To upload to ColourMine you see
Then all of the ColourMine fans
Will have nothing to read
I can’t believe I found a note pad
In a beautiful pink
I’m wondering if it will cause a blast
When I start writing about my past
And my present, what do you think
When I begin applying some fabulous ink
Well for now we’ll have to wait and see
The old pad isn’t finished
So, I’d best get writing quickly
Writing my thoughts about the life I lead
Best make it quick smart this week,
Otherwise, the future could be quite bleak
There’s only about twenty more pages to go
For me to fill with my erratic flow
Then this will be the second book complete
Then onto the pink one . . . Whooptidee
And you’ll find out more about me
Moving On . . .
Well, the old book it done
It’s looking quite replete
Full of poems about where I walked my feet
Everything is a journey you see
Another poem, another page
Did you know ColourMine is all the rage
Being popular for being one main thing
Poems that are original, genuine,
Yes, that’s me,
This is not AI territory
If you want to know more about me,
Then read every poem right through
Whether it’s gardening, websites or grief
The pages are full of all sorts of things
That are me
Whether it’s website building or laughter
It’s all me
Now I’d best go get a cup of tea
To replenish my brain cells
And give my writing a boost
I might even grab a slice of toast.
