Showing that everything can be

This is a world within a world

With inanimate objects conversing
In and around the house and garden
Some being very happy
And some are “oh, woe is me”
All the different things have
Such wonderful personalities
Some crave love to the nth degree
Other’s look on in disbelief
It doesn’t matter what you believe
Everything in ColourMine is about creativity
But it all stems from life and living
In fact, it’s all from me
My poetic universe and diversity
All that you find on ColourMine you see
Is everything that has been either seen
Or experienced by me
Is it because I’m an odd ball
Who seeks some clarity
Or could it be that a lot of strange situations
Have sent me to view these things
That happened to me
ColourMine Gardens
My garden as you might have seen
Is in a world of its own
Virtually everything is self-sown
Apart from the shrubs and the trees
And what do we have left
Hmmm, oh yes, grass and weeds,
When you look at your own garden
You may not see
That Mother Nature
Shares everything
So, it can emerge and encroach
In every way that it’s possible you see
From all types of vermin to climbing weeds
And then there’s me, with my cup of tea
I sit and watch it all
Like it’s some kind of jamboree
With all partying free
And ColourMine the supporting act
Absolutely brimming with flamboyancy
Not asking or pleading
No not me, I am just
Blasting out lots of poems for you to read,
Then I sit down and breathe
Happy with life’s gifts to you and me
Especially the air that is around us
Even if it is sometimes full
Of animal dirt and debris
