WordPress: Experienced in the past but relevant even now, setup problems and solutions arising

Setting Up on WordPress

There it was staring at me
I didn’t know what it actually did
So, left it be

I did absolutely everything I could do
Setting up pages, adding some new
Writing poems night and day
Typing them up without delay

Making sure that it all will be
Complete with contact and emoji
Including a search box
For you to find everything

Giving Every Opportunity

Everything on ColourMine
That is to do with me
Don’t want you to miss out on
That opportunity

I added my photos reduced in size
Not yet compressed
I’m not sure why

I did all that I could do
Continuing to upload poems
With categories and tags too

I checked all the poems to see
If the headers were suitable and
Correct for me

Going Through the Checklist

I had my list it was ready you see
I know it’s boring but I had to be
Ready for any eventuality

So, SEO Title H1 and Author H4
Poem Header H2 and
Subheadings H3
All was going swimmingly

Everything was absolutely correct
From what I could see
Nothing outstanding,
All as it was meant to be

I checked the Site Kit
And what did I find
Two flippin’ H1 tags
Oh, what a bind

Looking For a Solution

Well, I was certain
The second wasn’t added by me
I’d had a plan and I stuck to it you see

I checked each page
To check it was correct
Nothing wrong,
But the Site Kit says it’s me

Now I’m thinking
Well, maybe it is me
That has caused this problem
Unknowingly.

Setting Up on WordPress

I’ve done everything that I should do
But if I put ColourMine into the search bar
It comes back with “Coming Soon”

Well, I know that cannot be
Because I’ve been posting loads
Recently.

So, the next move I shall make will be
To click that “Complete Setup” button asap
Then hopefully I think it will do
What I hope it will do

Doubting My Ability

I’m not an expert on website building
In fact, I might be a fool
But if I click it and that
“Coming Soon” is removed

Then I’m having a Glayva to
Celebrate a good day
Wishing you cheers and many more years
Of ColourMine published here

I delved further,
It wasn’t what I thought it would be
It was for a whole new set up
So, definitely wasn’t for me

WordPress but No Glayva!

I think I’ll have a cup of tea
And mull over the possibility
Of a domain transfer
That’s looking very likely for me.
