ColourMine Pen | This is a AssTea survival here

Written by Susan Lane

I have a pen friend named Tea

A light hearted look at a useable object that I handle every day that brings sass of all kinds to every poem that I write. Whether inside or out the sentiment is the same – AssTea is the pen and is totally to blame.

And Tea is my pen called AssTea
Tea won’t be found in a mug
A cup or glass for me
Tea won’t be restricted to only
Being held in liquified form you see
That’s not how Tea is
Or works for me
Because Tea is a pen
Slim, and gold and weighted just slightly

Tea feels just right when I hold it to write
So, everything you can read just glides
From Tea perfectly
To give emphasis when I need it you see
And give balance to descriptions
In every piece of my very own
ColourMine poetry

My pen if you continue to read
Can be discerned from my description
And is called Tea, short for AssTea because for me
Tea kicks Ass poetically because
AssTea is full of bubbles of inspiration
That you can read

Hot is one way to describe my Tea
When all the poems flow from me
Onto my notepad for you all to read
It all comes through at such a speed
Not just one poem flies through for me
It’s several and all early morning
Would you believe

Clarification of the Pen

Just after I’d eaten breakfast of Weetabix
And then whilst drinking an actual cup of tea
AssTea starts calling me
To write for ColourMine double quick
Barely giving me chance to mull
Or for every word that begins to breathe
And gives life and colour to everything that is
Written with AssTea

So now you may understand the significance to me
When I say I’m going for a nice hot cup of Tea
It just means a brew and writing furiously
To give glimpses of my life
From a vivid memory
Now I wonder how many of you have a favourite Tea
No not the brew just the pen
AssTea
Tea hee hee
