Favicon: A favicon is a minute way of identifying a website on the search tab, I’ve changed mine a couple of times but have now found “the one”, although Copyleaks still gets a little confused when I scan a poem and it throws up a previous one.
Favicon Confusion
This is something I certainly didn’t expect but it gave me a nice surprise being told I had plagiarised my own work under my previous favicon, so satisfying to experience Copyleaks thoroughness for myself and know that it was only myself I had to blame lol
Yellow Favicon with a C
I figured out how Copyleaks became confused.
I wrote my poems as usual.
Put each one through Copyleaks
Then over time I had a different favicon
That I let speak.
The first favicon was a
Yellow dandelion from my garden,
With a huge letter C and that was alright
Because Copyleaks could see
It was related to ColourMine and me.
Everything came back,
No AI, all human, no plagiarism,
100% me,
I was most definitely pleased,
Oh, Whooptidee.
I uploaded everything diligently,
Whether on Squarespace or
Later on WordPress,
It was still me.
Change to CM for ColourMine
Once I was completely on WordPress
I felt it was time for me,
To change my favicon
To reflect my different living space,
So, I chose the orange cat fur
With CM to express this new me.
The orange cat and ColourMine
That’s me
But not so sure that Copyleaks
See’s this new me
Is the same as the old one
Just with a different hat, hehe
Well, considering that I have improved
With this game,
I went back to my first WordPress blog posts
To update and rework
Because some were a bit plain.
Re-scanned and Confusion Reigns
Then I put each one through Copyleaks
The same as before,
that made me smile
Because of the plagiarism score.
It would seem
That because of the favicon
I’m now using
Is different to that last seen
That I’m doing up to 100% plagiarism
Of the blog post poems initially written
By me.
Whilst it’s not actually a problem
Because I have in person seen
That Copyleaks works
And is detecting published blog poems
Written by me,
Under my previous favicon,
I think I can safely say
That it definitely works
Not Mistaken Identity
Like a public track and trace.
That’s good news hehe
So, that said I’m pleased
To be able to accept
This isn’t mistaken identity
Just both favicons
Have been used by me,
And now it’s time
For another cup of nice hot
Decaffeinated tea,
So, I can warm up
Let’s Have a Cuppa, Please
During this autumn freeze
Please let me know
If you have experienced circumstances
Similar to these,
Cheers, now let us enjoy a sip of that tea.

Apologies for the emoji presentation – I tested several, but this was the only one that worked reliably on ColourMine. Just click the box next to the emoji and hit submit, and I’ll know if the poem resonated with you. Thank you for sharing your feelings.
