ColourMine this is survival | Squarespace tackling here

Written by Susan Lane

ColourMine is Sombre

When Squarespace throws up challenges when least expected then there’s only one thing ColourMine will do, strap on the sass, tackle them head on and enjoy the ride.

Why am I so sombre?
Is it the time of year?
I’m not sure it is and that’s kind of weird
Perhaps it’s because I’ve spent days without end
Writing poems indefinitely
Then ColourMine has needed tweaking again

It’s quite amazing,
Just when you think everything is done
Then up pops a gremlin, oh, isn’t this fun
Who would have thought this could be
Such a mammoth task for me

Another problem, but tiny this time
Although it will still take a couple of hours
Until it is fine.
Isn’t it amazing how when you consider

How long it will take to problem solve
This small thing,
You most definitely underestimate it
Believe me, and

It’s unbelievable
Some of the things I’ve learned to do
A few of the things on Squarespace
Are becoming easier and
More understandable to do

Although some are still quite hard
You could class them as tricky you see
And finding a solution can be quite tough
Have I been that long, oh, gosh I need to pee

I’m back to it
And still finding it
Damned irritating for me
I expect it’s something like golf
When you get caught in the rough

Maybe in a lake or between the trees
And you think “Aww, chuffin’ hell, please”
You have to consider all aspects of a way through
To see the end of the game is what you must do

Reflections on ColourMine and Squarespace

So here I am, thinking again,
Having a glass of sparkling
To mess up the brain,
It’s so warm we could do with some rain
Maybe tomorrow

When my brain is clear again
Well, never mind it’s all good,
I’ll just finish this off
Because even you might agree

It’s not good to leave half a bottle
Even if it is cheap Asti
Now you all have a wonderful evening
And here’s to you . . . Cheers, hehe
