ColourMine always has another option but nothing to prove.
ColourMine Change of Clothes on Squarespace
ColourMine: A change of clothes happens but unknowingly leads the way to a long-awaited change of platform too
Snap Decision – Can This Improve Things
It would be very nice you see
If all this went viral
But that is just not going to happen
To ColourMine and me
But we can sit and dream
And glug on Asti or drink
Endless cups of tea
We also of course will have a good read
About all the things
That have happened to me
Isn’t it great that we can see
All the changes that are ColourMine
Positively.
This New Fabulous Livery
Oh, my God, I can’t believe
How lovely the new ColourMine colours look
And how easy it all is to read
It’s so fabulous and brilliant, so bright
And such a clean platform to see
I never dreamt that my website
Could be so clear and clean
So ColourMine me
Well, I’m glad to have been the instigator
Of this new scene
The difference is just absolutely amazing
Better than a dream.
ColourMine Evolution
I really wish I’d tried it before
But would it have really encouraged you more?
I don’t know is the answer
But we will see
How much more traffic will travel
Through ColourMine this week
Let us hope it starts a streak
With ColourMine emulating me on the street
Dressed to impress now that’s definitely the best
Now if I had my choice over again
Would I have chosen Squarespace I wonder
And if not, what then?
Why would I not?
Why is it not for me?
What doesn’t it allow me to do?
How does it compare with “everything easily”?
How does Squarespace compare with what other’s do?
All of these questions I should have thought
Before I decided to be caught
Up in this fabulous idea of mine
The Emergence of ColourMine
To build my website called ColourMine
I wanted it done right away
I didn’t consider anything else
That could get in the way
What an idiotic decision that was for me
I should have tried a few more things
Well, now I have and this much is true
I know Squarespace is not for me, that’s true
What have I found that moves me away
Well, I was never very sure of the plug and play
It’s supposed to be so easy I hear you say
But when you are building
The quirks and the foibles get it the way
Quite deliberately, and I found are mainly
A pain in the butt to me
That what you build is not eventually what you see
Because when you go live it’s not what you have seen
Everything has jumped around
And when putting in text or pictures separately
I have found you need to leave
A 2-block gap between everything
Or it will over run and bleed right through
Into the next bit you’re trying to do
But adjusting the blocks is easy to do
Grab and Go
Just grab the handles and move
To reduce or widen the gap for you
But then you go and add something new
So have to repeat almost everything you do
And they say it’s so very easy for you
Well, this I’ve got to say
I have most definitely learned a lot
Doing things this way
Doubling Down
But it’s not the easiest way to spend your day
So, WordPress I’m definitely on my way to you
I’m fed up with wasting so much time
Doing double the work
To make everything look fine
Now, where’s my cup of tea
I definitely need something
To end this flippin’ monstrosity
