ColourMine Bug Removal Organically

ColourMine: It’s always good to have a fresh look at the garden whether in the bright sun of a heatwave or in the cool of the early morning, seeing how nature and predators of various sorts play their games out during the day.

The ColourMine Garden in the Heat

The grass is brown
The weeds are green
The hedges and shrubs
Are quite a mess to be seen

A little overgrown
Because of the little bit of rain
And the excessive heat
But it still looks fabulous

It’s nature and something
You can’t beat
When we get more rain
And less heat

Trimming the Vegetation

The grass will green up
And the weeds will be
Up around your knees
Thankfully the mower

Will get a feed
Flying over the growing weeds
To mulch down everyone
Who have taken advantage

Of the sun
This beautiful weather
Is alright for them
But not for me

Too Hot for Me

I’m not keen when it gets above
20 degrees Celsius you see
Only because you can’t get anything done
Due to it being too hot in the sun

So, there I sit in the shade
Watching the butterflies,
Birds and bugs, parade
And now I see I have

Bug Removal Experts

Some new visitors
The young chickens from next door
Whom have nipped in for a feast
Inside my virgin territory

That to them is “restaurant next door”
They enjoy lots of pecking around on the floor
Before they have to retreat
Because of a cat, my dog

Maybe even a local fox,
Or even just because it’s
Time for tea
They spend most of the day

Looking and finding tasty treats
Like slugs and snails
Spiders too, in fact anything sweet
Will absolutely do

Supervising Bug Removal

And it’s a huge benefit to them and me
They get to visit a high-end restaurant
That’s absolutely free
And I get bug removal done, organically

Whilst I sit back under a tree
Watching diligently
Sipping on my decaffeinated
Cup of tea.
